I've been crafting my entire life. Growing up with two creative parents, making things has always felt like a natural part of who I am.

In 2017, I received my first Cricut, and what started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion for creating, teaching, and helping other people discover their own creativity.

Over the years, I've added sublimation, diode and CO₂ lasers, and a whole lot of new skills to my creative toolbox.

I love creating for other people, and I especially love a challenge. If you have an idea and aren't sure how to make it happen, there's a good chance I'll want to figure it out!

But Melissa Rae & Company is about more than the things I make. It's about giving people options. I can make something for you, give you the supplies to make it yourself, or teach you how to create it. I believe everyone should be able to create at their own pace, with as much—or as little—help as they need.

The name has a special meaning, too. Melissa is me, Rae is my daughter Raelyn, and Company is everyone we pick up along the way. I hope this business grows into something that Raelyn can be part of as she gets older, while also creating a place where family, friends, and other talented makers can share their creations.

My husband, Scott, and our two teenagers, Dylan and Raelyn, are my biggest supporters. Between crafting, family, travel hockey, soccer, music, and our wonderfully crazy schedule, life is never boring!

I'm also passionate about being part of my community and using my creativity to give back. I'm excited to grow Melissa Rae & Company into a place where people can find personalized gifts, creative experiences, DIY projects, workshops, and now on-site engraving for special events and businesses.
